Clinic Staff

Danette Minnie, Clinic Manager/LVT

          

Philip M. Smyka, Business Manager

 Danette began working at the clinic 2007. She has over 20 years experience in the veterinary industry and has spent the last 10 years in management. Her passion is staff development and client education. She spends most of her time updating team members on medical advancements and current veterinary topics.    Philip Started working at the clinic in 2005. He enjoys learning about new technology in veterinary medicine.  His goal is to implement new medical equipment and procedures so the doctors have the tools necessary to practice cutting edge medicine.  He has two dogs at home that keep him busy.

 

      • Anna Barner
        Team Leader
         Receptionist

          

 

Anna started working at our clinic in 1996 as a kennel staff member. She currently is the Clinic Team Leader. You will find her interacting with clients behind the front desk but she also helps doctors with surgeries and appointments.  She has 1 cat and 3 dogs at home.  



 

          

Larri Gabrion
Veterinary Assistant

  Larri began working at Lake Lansing Road Animal Clinic in 1994. She works alongside the doctors in caring for each of our patients. Larri spent 20 years in the army reserve and she brings with her the experience of controlling inventory. She uses her army training to monitor the clinic's inventory.

Allison Farra
 Veterinary Assistant

Leah, with one of our boarders, has been working for our clinic since 2000. She started out working as part of our kennel staff but she currently works behind the receoption desk.   Allison, started working at Lake Lansing Road Animal Clinic as a college student in 1995. She has since learned to perform almost every job at the clinic. She helps the doctors with appointments, works at the reception desk, and routinely expands her understanding of diets with Hill's continued education programs.













 

          

 

   












Resort Staff 

Katie Metzger, Resort Manager

          

Devin Smith

 Katie started working in the resort in 2002. We quickly noticed her love for animals, hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. Not long after did she become the resort manager. She currently is in charge of hiring, training, and managing all resort staff members.    Devin has worked in the resort since 2005. He has two young kids at home that keep him very busy after work. They enjoy spending time with their dog apollo, watching movies, and family bowling outings.

Jen Villanueva

          

 

 Jen started working at the clinic in this past year. Before moving to Michigan she use to walk dogs in New York City.  

 

          

Amanda Mattson

   Amanda is a sophomore at Michigan State University. She is in the process of applying for the Veterinary Technician program.
