Dr. Chris Jones:
Dr. Jones is the Hospital Director at Lake Lansing Road Animal Clinic and Pet Resort. He is a 1982 graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University.  Dr. Jones has worked at our clinic since 1994 and has been director since 2005. His interests are in internal medicine. He attends numerous continuing education programs to stay current on developing changes and treatment options in the field of internal medicine. Dr. Jones works closely with specialists at Michigan State University Veterinary School to provide pets with the most current diagnostics and therapeutics possible.

In his off time Dr. Jones enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities as well as reading. He has 2 cats, Big Mac who was found in a McDonalds dumpster and Sir Phantom an orphaned kitten.








Dr. Ruth Zarka:
Dr. Zarka has practiced medicine at Lake Lansing Road Animal Clinic and Pet Resort since 1999. She is a 1995 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Zarka has two dogs and five cats at home.








Dr. Connie Sveller:
Dr. Sveller has practiced medicine as a relief veterinarian at Lake Lansing Road Animal Clinic and Pet Resort since 2006. As a relief vet Dr. Sveller works for other veterinarians and she currently works at our clinic for 3 months of the year.  She graduated from MSU's vet school in 1985 and in 1998 she opened her own practice in Swartz Creek, MI.  In 2005, Dr. Sveller decided to semi-retire and sold her practice and began a part time career as relief veterinarian.  Dr. Svellar is married to her husband of 23 years and her son currently attends Michigan State University. She attends to her two cats Tom and Tiger, her dog Taz, and her horse Diablo.
